Download the App
Download the TrackR app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Turn on Bluetooth
Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned ON, and the app is running at ALL times in order to stay connected to your wallet.
Select "Add new Device"
Select "Add new device" in the app.
Select "Works with TrackR"
Scroll down, select "Works with TrackR" and then select "Ekster wallets".
Name your Device
After you name your device, tap "Next" and hold your phone near your Tracker Card.
Pair your Tracker Card
Press the Ekster logo on the Tracker Card. Then select "pair" on the pop-up that appears in the app.
Test range and ringer
Complete the range and ring tests to finalize the set-up.
Register for CrowdGPS
Register for CrowdGPS so people can help you find your tracker. You will receive an email to confirm your account.

The Wallet

Where can I get EKSTER® wallets? What are the differences between the Parliament model and the Senate model.

The Parliament is a bifold wallet with premium leather and an embedded cardholder. It stores cards, keys and cash, and is available with or without an integrated tracker.
The Senate is a cardholder for the minimalists out there. It is available with or without a tracker and it offers the option of holding cash using the nifty cash-strap.

What is RFID skimming?

Most credit/debit cards issued within the past decade have RFID technology embedded in them. RFID chips are a convenient way to store and read data wirelessly by simply holding your card near a reader. The danger is that someone could build a counterfeit reader and pick up your RFID information against your will. These counterfeit RFID readers can pull or delete data simply by walking near you on the street.

When using EKSTER® wallets, you will be 100% protected against any RFID data theft as our aluminum cardholder blocks out RFID signals.

What prevents your cards from flying out of the wallet? Will the mechanism last for years? Can the wallet hold coins?

The Tracker

How do I track my wallet? Does the "TrackR" app work everywhere? What is Crowd GPS? What is the battery life of the tracker? Does the Bluetooth drain my phone battery? Is the tracker waterproof? Can EKSTER® wallets prevent theft?

Troubleshooting

My cards are stuck in the cardholder/wallet

Very rarely, it is possible that your cards may get stuck. This is most likely caused by dirt or residue that is affecting the mechanism or friction system. To fix this issue follow these steps:

Shake the cardholder/wallet vertically upside-down to eject the cards.
Blow high-pressure air into the cardholder and shake it upside-down to make sure all residue is removed
Insert your cards half way into the cardholder. Then lever/pressure them hard against the side friction walls of the cardholder. This way you will put pressure on the friction system and create more room for the cards to slide up and down.

My cards fall out of my card holder easily

Very rarely, it is possible that your cards may slide out of your cardholder when you hold it upside down. This is most likely caused by your cards irregular widths and thickness. To fix this issue follow these steps:

Make sure you have 5 cards inside your cardholder
Try changing the order of your cards and test out the mechanism again.
Try using some embossed cards if some of your other cards are unusually thin.

My cards don’t eject from the cardholder/wallet smoothly

Very rarely, it is possible that your cards may not come out smoothly. This is most likely caused by your cards irregular widths. To fix this issue follow these steps:

Insert your cards half way into the cardholder.
Gently move the cards left and right. (This way you will put pressure on the friction system and create more room for the cards to slide up and down).

My separation alert isn’t working My wallet wont pair with my phone

Make sure that the device is deleted from your item settings
Make sure that the device is removed from your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Look for device “Tkr” and press “forget device”
Turn on Bluetooth and try pairing the device now
